The Soften collection began with a wooden representation of an old marble sculpture that you might have seen in a museum. Trees are generally known to be heavy and hard, but the Soften collection creates an unusual look like a stone tower by smoothing the seams of the four legs and the tabletop. This curved surface is a new “edge”. The curvature of wood is completed by CNC machines and craftsmen. Refined with sculptural details, Soften stays in the living space for a long time like a sculpture.

Soften 컬렉션은 박물관에서 봤을 법한 옛 대리석 조각을 나무로 표현하는 것에서 시작되었다. 나무는 일반적으로 무겁고 단단하다고 알고 있지만, Soften 컬렉션은 네 개의 다리와 테이블 상판의 이음새 부분을 부드럽게 처리하면서 마치 돌탑같은 이색적인 인상을 만들어냈다. 이 곡면은 새로운 ‘엣지 Edge’다. 목재의 곡면 처리는 CNC 기계와 장인의 손으로 완성된다. 조각적인 디테일로 다듬어낸 Soften은 마치 조각품처럼 생활 공간에 오랫동안 머문다.
