This project begins with curiosity about essential characteristic of material. Our design direction is to ultimately reveal the essence of material: the gravity, mass and balance. When these elements harmonized in balance, familiar and ordinary things could inspire us in a new way. B (Balance) lamp series suggests various positions of light to users depending on a space and use. The bottoms of polygon shaped bases are made of concrete and wood have certain angles (30° / 35°) to create right balance in different positions of the lamp. The angles were adjusted in balance on the basis of the weight of material, so that create the stable form and proportion. Additionally, B35° Lamp can be displayed for various moods in a space, with modular arrangements such as circular or bridge layout.

이 프로젝트는 재료의 본질적 특성에 대한 호기심에서 시작되었다. 재료의 본질을 순수하게 드러낼수 있는 디자인 방향에 대한 고민을 바탕으로, 재료의 중력과 질량 그리고 균형이 조화롭게 만났을 때 우리에게 익숙한 현상이 새로운 영감을 전해줄수 있다는 것을 보여줄 것이다. B(Balance) lamp series는 콘크리트와 나무재질을 사용하여 다면체 형태에 조명베이스 하부에 일정한 각도(30,35)를 만들어, 사용자의 쓰임과 공간에 따라 조명을 다양한 포지션으로 변화시킬 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 무게라는 재료의 본질적인 특성을 바탕으로 형태와 균형을 조정하면서, 조명의 다양한 포지션을 위한 안정적인 형태과 비례를 만들어내었다. 추가적으로, 다수의 오각형 B35를 연속으로 배치하여 원형 또는 브릿지형등 다양한 분위기 연출이 가능하다.
